FAQ-I tip hair extensions
Q1. What’s the difference between K-Tip and I-Tip extensions?
-
K-Tip (Keratin Tip): Installed with a heat fusion tool to melt the keratin tip and bond it with your natural hair.
-
I-Tip: Installed with microbeads, no heat required. The beads are clamped to secure the extension strand.
Q2. How many packs of I-Tip hair extensions do I need?
-
For a highlighted look: 6 packs (about 120g) are usually enough.
-
For full length & volume: 8–10 packs (160–200g) are recommended, depending on your natural hair thickness.
Q3. Can the I-Tip extensions be dyed or styled?
-
Yes. Our extensions are made of 100% real human hair and can be dyed, curled, or straightened.
-
👉 We recommend only dyeing from light to dark shades.
-
Always perform a strand test before full application to avoid unwanted results and extend the lifespan of the extensions.
Q4. How do I keep the extensions from tangling?
-
Brush gently from the ends upward with a wide-tooth comb.
-
Wash with lukewarm water using sulfate-free shampoo & conditioner.
-
Let the hair air-dry naturally.
-
Apply a light hair oil to mid-lengths and ends for smoothness.
Q5. What should I do if the extensions become curly or lose shape?
-
Since our extensions are real human hair, you can restyle them.
-
Use a flat iron to straighten or a curling iron to style.
-
Keep the temperature below 180°C (350°F) to protect the hair and beads.
